Who We Are

The SBLCS Technical Committee is within the IEEE Power & Energy Society engaging in standards development and advancement of technical matters related to energy systems behind the meter. Our approximately 200 members are industry leaders, practitioners, and academics with a common professional interest in electric power and energy systems. The Committee holds numerous events throughout the year, including sessions and meetings at conferences (e.g., IEEE T&D, PES General Meeting, and others), online and electronic activities, and meetings.
