Anders Sjoelin is President and Chief Executive Officer at S&C Electric Company, leading the employee-owned company in delivering innovative solutions that empower the transformation of the grid for a more reliable and sustainable energy future.
Anders joined S&C after nearly 30 years at ABB and has a global understanding of the challenges facing the power industry. In his last role with ABB, Anders served as the Country Managing Director of the United States and Head of ABB’s Power Grids business in North America. Before that, he was President of ABB’s Power System Division in North America. Other previous roles included senior-level management positions in power systems and transmission and distribution businesses in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Spain, and Brazil, as well as at ABB’s corporate headquarters in Switzerland.
Anders is proudly engaged in several U.S. power industry and manufacturing organizations. He serves on the Board of Governors of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and is on its Governmental Relations and Communications Committees. He is also on the Board of Trustees for the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovations (MAPI), a nonprofit professional alliance supporting manufacturing leaders. He also serves on the executive advisory council for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is a former member of the Board of Alliance to Save Energy, a nonprofit bipartisan alliance advocating for enhanced energy productivity.
Anders earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration and Analytic Strategy from the University of Lund in Sweden.
