The PES Governing Board has endorsed the following candidates for the 2025 IEEE Division VII Director-elect position. The candidates are listed in a predetermined lottery order and indicate no preference.

The voting members of each Division shall elect a Delegate to the IEEE Assembly, designated as its Divisional Delegate, who shall also by virtue of such election be a Director, designated as its Divisional Director. Division Delegate/Directors are voting members of the Technical Activities Board. The job description for this position is available on the IEEE website.

Candidates will have an opportunity to speak during the PES Members Meeting on Monday, 22 July at the PES General Meeting in Seattle, WA, USA. Their biographies and position statements will be included in the July/August edition of the IEEE Power & Energy Magazine and available on the IEEE Election website.

The 2025 IEEE Division VII Director-elect will serve on the 2025 PES Governing Board and will continue serving on the 2026 & 2027 PES Governing Board as the IEEE Division VII Director.

All active PES members (Graduate Student Member, Member, Senior Member and Fellow Grade), as of 30 June, will be eligible to vote in this election. The IEEE Annual Election balloting starts on 15 August 2024 and ends at 12:00 noon ET (16:00 UTC-4) on 1 October 2024.
