2024 – 25 PES Scholarship Plus Recipients

Piscataway, N.J. – Eighty Four (84) PES Scholarship recipients were selected this year. These undergraduate students are majoring in electrical engineering, are high achievers with strong GPAs with distinctive extracurricular commitments and are committed to exploring the power and energy field. These scholarships are made possible due to the generous donations of individuals and corporations to the IEEE Power & Energy Society Scholarship Fund of the IEEE Foundation.

The IEEE PES John W. Estey Outstanding Scholar Award is given annually to the top PES Scholar recipient in each Region 1-7. This program is supported by donations to the IEEE Foundation PES Scholarship Plus Fund (established in 2010). The S&C Foundation created an endowed fund to support the establishment of the IEEE PES Scholarship Plus Initiative John W. Estey Outstanding Scholar Award. John W. Estey is past CEO of the S&C Electric Company and past IEEE PES President.
