The IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) invites experts and professionals from academia and industry to submit Panel Session proposals for presentation at the 2026 IEEE PES International Meeting.

Panel Sessions will provide a unique platform for professionals, practitioners, and academics to share their in-depth knowledge and experiences on important topics related to Global Power and Energy Systems Resilience. These sessions aim to address the challenges and innovations in building resilient, adaptive, and sustainable power and energy systems through interdisciplinary collaboration, technological advancements, and policy integrations.

Submission proposals are due on 15 July 2025 and must be emailed to Prof. Siqi BU at .

Panel Session Requirements

  • Duration: 1.5 Hours
  • Suggested Number of Presentations in one Panel Session: 4.
  • Technical Approval: All Panel Sessions must receive prior approval from the relevant 2026 IEEE PES International Meeting Organizing Committee and Programme & Publications Committee

Submission Guidelines

Each Panel Session proposal should include the following information:

  • Title of the Panel Session
  • Abstract/description of the Panel Session (approximately 150 words)
  • Indication of Selected Topic Track (shown below)
  • Chair (s) and co-Chair (s) name(s), email(s) and short biography (approximately 150 words per presenter)

Topics of Interest

Panel Session proposals should align with the overall theme of the conference and cover a broad spectrum of topics relevant to modern power and energy systems. Suggested topic tracks include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Resilient Power Grid Infrastructure
  • Operation and Control of Modern Power Systems
  • Diverse Energy Systems and Decarbonization
  • Digital Transformation in Power and Energy Systems
  • Energy Markets, Policy, and Sustainability
