This webinar will discuss selected contents from the recently published IEEE Std C37.300-2024 to facilitate the attendees navigating the guide to understand and develop the requirements for a CPC-based system implementation and will be beneficial to utility engineers, developers, OEMs, consultants and academia.

Presenter bio:
Ratan Das received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada and received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. Dr. Das contributed to the development of many IEEE and IEC standards, and CIGRE Technical Brochures. . He received IEEE PES Technical Committee (PSRC) Distinguished Individual Service Award in 2017 “For Contributions to the Power Systems Industry and the revision and promotion of the C37.111/IEC60255-24 (COMTRADE 2013 Std.).
