IEEE Accomplishments/Activities
With a proven track record across multiple levels of IEEE volunteer leadership, I bring a global perspective and deep operational experience. I have served on the IEEE Board of Directors, as Region 10 Director, IEEE MGA Board Member, and as Treasurer of both the IEEE India Council and IEEE Bangalore Section. These roles have given me hands-on exposure to IEEE’s governance, financial oversight, and strategic planning, enabling me to drive impactful initiatives across regions and membership segments.
In the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES), I have led programs that bridge member engagement with innovation and sustainability. As PES Member-at-Large, I launched PES Global Workshops across Region10, bringing together academia, industry, policymakers, and volunteers to explore emerging technologies. These engagements resulted in five corporate partnership agreements, fuelling membership and technical activity growth.
As MAL for PES Philanthropic Initiatives, I restructured funding and project selection for PES Smart Village (ISV) projects and introduced systematic student and YP involvement for deeper chapter engagement. I also initiated zonal coordination frameworks in PES Region 10, enhancing volunteer accountability, social media engagement, R10 Newsletter & communication, and activity tracking as PES R10 Representative.
During my time as Region 10 Director, I revitalized Young Professionals (YPs) and Women in Engineering (WIE) affinity groups by launching scalable programs like the Hard-Tech Summit and SYWL Congress. I also championed the integration of YP & WIE tracks into flagship events and formed an AdHoc committee to identify the evolving needs of industry professionals and early-career engineers, focusing on entrepreneurship, innovation, and skill development.
My commitment to transparency, financial stewardship, and member value creation has been the foundation of my IEEE contributions—and it will remain core to my service as IEEE PES Treasurer.
